Ura-Mashu Observation Deck
Beauty that instantly captivates the viewer
Lake Mashu is a mysterious lake in Akan Mashu National Park.
Lake Mashu boasts a high degree of transparency due to the absence of rivers flowing in and out of the lake, which means that there are few living creatures and organic matter does not accumulate in the lake. As the name "Foggy Lake Mashu" implies, the lake is often shrouded in fog, making it difficult to get a clear view of the lake, but the Ura-Mashu Observatory, which is at a relatively low elevation, is said to be less foggy than other observatories.
