Mori Town, located in southern Hokkaido, is blessed with natural resources from Mt. Komagatake and Uchiura Bay. Uniquely in Hokkaido, its name suffix is pronounced "machi" instead of "cho." The town enjoys a mild climate with relatively little snow. Known as a premier cherry blossom destination, Aobagaoka Park features over 1,000 trees across 17 varieties, including the rare Mori Komachi. Visitors can enjoy local seafood and spectacular spring scenery in this charming coastal community.
