Horokanai Town

Hokkaido got its first heavy snowfall of the season. When snow piles up, you do this kind of thing. A post on the Twitter account of Horokanai High School in northern Hokkaido is getting a lot of attention.

Dive into the fluffy snow! If you live in an area where snow accumulates, you must have done it at least once. Everyone seems to be having a great time!

I'm curious, "Did you get a red dot?" The point is, there was this tweet afterwards.

I'm not sure if it was a red mark or not, but it was a mark.

I'm relieved to hear that you avoided a red mark...

High school students studying agriculture in northern Hokkaido

Horokanai High School is the only high school in Horokanai Town with a population of about 1,300. The school offers a regular agriculture course, and since many of the students are from outside the town, they live in a student dormitory while studying agriculture. The Twitter feed of Horokanai High School is very active in providing information about the high school and the town.

High school students living in the town of Horokanai. Don't let the snow get you down, and do your best in your studies...!
