The mascot dogs of the popular cafe "Norainu" in Hakodate, Hokkaido, are former rescue dogs Tetsuro and Tochiro. Their walks are posted on social media and are quietly gaining more and more fans.

When Tetsuro and Tochiro try to say hello, the cat always arches its back and makes the "Yanno-ka Step" to intimidate them. The cat's brave yet slightly pitiful appearance has become a hot topic, with some people secretly looking forward to the "Yanno-ka Series."

I talked to the owner

We spoke to the owners of Tetsuro and Tochiro, who are watched over by many people through social media.

Since when have you been living together?

They are brothers and came to our home in April 2018. We usually write and call them "Tetsutochi" and "Iron Tochi" together.

The brothers were born in Okinawa Prefecture. A veterinarian from Hakodate, Dr. Uchida, was working with a conservation group in Okinawa to find foster homes for the dogs in Hakodate when he met them.

Brothers rescued in Okinawa. Rescued by Ramatt Hakodate ↓ I had lost five large dogs and was without a dog, so Sasaki-san (who is good friends with Ramatt-san) contacted me and said, "I have a nice dog here." ↓ The dog is fine now 😔 ↓ Just meet and see ↓ It's just a matter of meeting! ↓ Transferring two together

We also have cats at home, and they are very calm so we get along well.

How are Tetsuro and Tochiro spending their time?

They both laugh a lot and do silly things.

And they are good friends.

"Even under a lot of pressure, I'm just eating chicken udon noodles."

The cats at "Yanno-ka" are cats that the owner meets while walking, and most of them are strays. We would like to continue to keep an eye on "Tetsutochi", who lives happily with his owner couple and their cats in Hakodate.
