What's the Best Way to Get to ES CON FIELD from Sapporo? A Detailed Guide to Travel Times, Fares, and Smart Ticket-Buying
The Standard Choice: Getting to the Nearest Station, JR Kitahiroshima, by Train
The most common way to travel from Sapporo to Kitahiroshima is by JR train. From Sapporo Station to Kitahiroshima Station, you can take the "Rapid Airport" train bound for New Chitose Airport, which takes about 17 minutes. Alternatively, a local train bound for Chitose or Tomakomai takes about 25 minutes. The fare for both is 540 yen.
Be careful, as there are three types of Airport trains that can be confusing: "Rapid," "Semi-Rapid," and "Special Rapid." The "Semi-Rapid" stops at JR Kitahiroshima Station and arrives in about 16 minutes, the same as the "Rapid." However, the "Special Rapid" does not stop at Kitahiroshima Station. Similarly, if you are taking the Airport train from New Chitose Airport towards Kitahiroshima Station, please be aware that the "Semi-Rapid" does not stop there. Be sure to check before boarding.
Connecting Stations to the Stadium: The Shuttle Bus
From JR Kitahiroshima Station to F VILLAGE, it's about a 30-minute walk or a 5-minute taxi ride, but the most popular option is the shuttle bus. Shuttle buses operate from the nearest station, JR Kitahiroshima, as well as from JR Shin-Sapporo Station, JR Nopporo Station, and New Chitose Airport. Fares and payment methods vary by route, and some routes do not accept cash, so please check the information in advance.

For Side Trips Beyond ES CON FIELD: Driving a Car or Rental Car
Traveling by car or rental car allows you to enjoy the areas surrounding ES CON FIELD and F VILLAGE. F VILLAGE has its own parking lot, so you can drive directly to the stadium. However, on game days, only vehicles with a pre-purchased parking ticket can use the F VILLAGE parking lots. Please be aware of this. Parking tickets can be purchased from F-ticket. (Parking tickets for AEON MALL Sapporo Hiraoka, which include a paid round-trip bus shuttle, can be purchased from Lawson Ticket.)

Getting to F VILLAGE from Northern Sapporo
If you're coming from the Teine, Kita, Higashi, Shiroishi, or Atsubetsu wards, it's recommended to take National Route 274 to Sapporo Shindo, Omagari Dori, and then the Kitahiroshima Sports Park Line.

Getting to F VILLAGE from Southern Sapporo
If you're coming from the Nishi, Chuo, Minami, Toyohira, or Kiyota wards, it's recommended to take National Route 36 to Hitsujigaoka Dori and then the Wassamu-Nakanosawa route.
Getting to F VILLAGE from Sapporo via the Expressway
When using the expressway, the nearest exit is the Wassamu Smart IC (an interchange exclusively for vehicles with ETC). For vehicles without ETC, it is convenient to exit at Sapporo Minami IC if coming from Sapporo, or Eniwa IC if coming from Chitose.
