Mokumokudo, which opened in Obihiro in June 2021, is a shop supervised by Fuwamochitei, a popular bagel and donut shop in Sapporo. The fluffy and chewy handmade donuts made with Hokkaido wheat and ingredients from Tokachi are very popular. The owner, who was originally a fan of Fuwamochitei, opened the shop by being provided with the recipe.

The shop's logo was created by the same designer as "Mochifuwatei." The flour is also sourced from "Fuwamochitei."

Mokumokudo sells around 20 different kinds of donuts, including cream cheese, kinako, and pudding daifuku. The most popular donut is the sesame donut, which costs 260 yen and sells out quickly. The manager's recommendation is the simple milk donut, made with just cane sugar, for 190 yen.

"Kinako" has a slightly salty taste, and a sweet and salty taste.

In addition, the "Jersey Milk Brulee" and "Strawberry Cheesecake" are rare donuts that are only sold on Saturdays and Sundays from around noon! In fact, there is a coin laundry next to the right side of the "Mokumokudo" building. You can go back and forth between Mokumokudo and the coin laundry, and there is a cafe space inside the coin laundry. So you can eat and drink as well as take away. It is perfect for a variety of situations, such as using it as a cafe while waiting for your laundry, using it as a cafe, or for takeaway.

Mokumokudo serves Cassiopeia Coffee, made with beans from the coffee shop Cassiopeia in Otofuke, Tokachi, and is the perfect accompaniment to donuts, such as coffee or cafe latte. You can also purchase the original Mokumokudo Blend coffee beans. There is a soft serve ice cream machine, so you can enjoy affogato in the summer!
