"Beautiful flying kick" A fierce battle between two Steller's sea eagles in the sky over Rausu, Shiretoko, Hokkaido, becomes a hot topic "Strong legs"
Rausu Town, located on the Shiretoko Peninsula in eastern Hokkaido, is a place where you can see rich nature and precious wildlife. One photo that symbolizes Rausu has attracted a lot of attention, with people saying it's "cool!"
I feel like I managed to take a photo that looks quite Rausu-like.

Quoted from @munkarra's post
A Steller's sea eagle kicks a young bird in the back. Another bird is hiding in the background, and it seems that the three birds are fighting over a fish. This photo capturing the powerful moment has drawn comments such as, "It's literally a flying kick," "A cool three-way battle!" and "I can't wait to see what happens next."
If you look closely at the photo, you can see people taking pictures of something on a boat behind the birds. It makes you wonder what they were aiming at.
Encounter with wild animals unique to Rausu
This photo was taken by nature tour guide Jun MATSUI, who captured precious shots of the subsequent fight over the fish and the beautiful sight of the eagle with its wings spread.
