About Astronomical Telescopes
Astronomical telescopes can be broadly classified into two types: refracting telescopes with lenses and reflecting telescopes with concave mirrors.
The observatory at the Tomakomai Science Center is equipped with a Goto 15cm refractor equatorial telescope.
