The "Mashike History Rally - Northern Samurai Edition", a walk rally to visit historical facilities, sites, and monuments related to the history of Mashike Town, will be held again this year!

This year's theme is "Samurai of the North," focusing on the "Northern Guard" conducted by the Tsugaru Clan and the Akita Clan in the 1800s, with checkpoints at related facilities and historical sites in the town. We hope that you will listen to the audio guide as you tour the town and think back to the samurai who faced the threat of Russia in Masuge at that time.

[How to participate]
After receiving a map at the former camp and the Honma family house, follow the checkpoints on the map from 1 to 5. At each checkpoint, read the 2D barcode, listen to the audio guide, and collect keywords.
The keywords will be played at the end of the audio guide; if you collect 5 keywords, one word will be completed, so please tell this word to the receptionist at the former camp house. A small gift will be offered!
