"Tobetsu Sweden Marathon" started in 2018. Aiming to spread a virtuous circle from a marathon in one town, we are making various efforts to lead to the future. This year's event will be held on Sunday, October 20. Entry for this year's marathon will begin on May 17 (Fri.).

This year's event will be held in accordance with the following three themes, further enhancing the sustainable efforts that have been focused on in the past.
Environmentally Friendly Tournament
This year's convention will focus on environmentally friendly initiatives such as saving paper resources and reducing CO2 emissions. In addition to continuing the initiatives of last year, this year we will develop new initiatives from a broader perspective.
Aiming for a convention that everyone can enjoy and participate in
In order to make the event more enjoyable for more people, we will create new courses and events, and promote understanding of the diversity of the event.
Aiming to create a tournament that is built together with the local community
We will strengthen our efforts to grow together with the local community as a tournament that takes root in the town of Tombetsu.

Half Marathon
Men and women High school students - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60 and over, non-binary
Sweden Hills Course (11.9km)
Boys & Girls High school age - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60+, Non-binary
Fun Run (elementary school students and older)
■Fun Run/Pair Run (Elementary school students and older *A pair of two who can complete the race)
(Preschoolers are also allowed to participate as long as they are with an elementary school student or older. Pairs of preschoolers only are not allowed.)

Number of applicants: 2,300
Half Marathon: 1,400 runners, 11.9km: 600 runners, Fun Run: 200 runners, Fun Run/Pair Run: 100 runners
