The Ice Village, which appears only on winter nights every year, is a winter tradition in Tomamu. 11 domes made of ice and snow, including the "Ice Bar" and "Ice Ramen Shop," stand in a 3.2 hectare area and form an ice town. The "Ice Church" and "Ice Hotel," located at the far end of the town, are the symbols of the Ice Village, with ceilings and walls made entirely of ice. Since its birth in the winter of 1998, the Ice Village has continued to offer visitors the experience of enjoying the cold.

■Ice Square [NEW
An "ice plaza" has appeared in the center of town as a place to relax in the Ice Village. Visitors can sit on benches made of ice around the fireplace and enjoy the fantastic view of the town. Visitors can also enjoy hot drinks sold at the "Ice Parlor" and marshmallows roasted over a bonfire together.
■ Ice Temperature Tower [NEW
In the Ice Village, a town of ice that appears only on winter nights, the most important thing is the "temperature. A new symbol of the Ice Village will be the temperature tower. Visitors can take a commemorative photo of the temperature at the time of their visit.
■ Ice Parlor [NEW].
Frozen cakes and ice cream sodas inspired by the fantastic atmosphere of the Ice Village are offered. Cakes can be taken out and brought back to your room to eat. The cakes are delicious frozen, but you can enjoy the different textures as they thaw a bit. Other offerings include hot coffee, tea, and marshmallows. Visitors can take a break with cold sweets and beverages in the nostalgic atmosphere of the restaurant with warm lights and candles.
■ Ice Bar
A dome where visitors can savor drinks in a space with a bar counter and cellar made of ice. more than 50 menu items are served in ice glasses. 2024-25 will feature three types of "ice fruit cocktails" made from frozen mixed berry, kiwi, and orange fruits. These brightly colored cocktails allow guests to enjoy the crunchy texture of the frozen fruit.
■ Ice Ramen Restaurant
Ramen is one of the most popular gourmet foods in Hokkaido. This year, we will again offer ice ramen, which consists of cold noodles, cold soup, and frozen toppings in a bowl of ice. The soup is made with kelp broth unique to Hokkaido, and the topping of oboro kelp deepens the flavor of the ramen. In addition, you will encounter a new world of ramen with the crunchy soup, and the naruto and boiled egg, whose elasticity has been increased by freezing. In addition, this winter, gyoza and beer will be available to enjoy with ramen. Dip the hot gyoza into the frozen sauce to enjoy the crispy texture and flavor of the gyoza in your mouth. Beer is served in a glass made of ice, so you can enjoy a perfectly chilled beer.
■ Ice Boutique [NEW
A boutique with a show window made of ice will be created. Items for further enjoyment of the Ice Village will be available. Adults and children can rent coats to take more memorable pictures in the Ice Village. Other items available include accessories with ice motifs and accessories that change color depending on the temperature.
■ Ice Postman
Continuing from last winter, ice post boxes are now available. Visitors can send postcards, which are available for purchase inside the dome, to posters all over the world. This winter, postcards that change color according to the temperature are also available. Visitors can write the temperature of the day on the card and keep it as a memory.
■ Ice Goods Shop
This general merchandise shop offers a variety of ice- and snow-themed goods. Crafts, candles, and mugs with Ice Village motifs line the ice shelves, and visitors can purchase items to remember their visit.
■ Ice Slide
This playground equipment allows visitors to slide down from the Ice Village observation deck to the town. There is also a small ice slide for children, making it a popular activity for both children and adults.
■ Ice Rink
At the ice rink created by the natural cold, visitors can enjoy skating while viewing the fantastic scenery. Skates are available for rent, so anyone can try it out.
There is also the "Ice Hotel," a space where the ceiling, walls, floor, and furniture are all made of ice, where only one couple per day can stay overnight, and the Ice Church, a church made of a single seamless sheet of ice that symbolizes "the pure and uninterrupted love between two people. Visitors can immerse themselves in a magical world of ice in a serene space, feeling the nature.
