Environmental event for parents and children "Let's have fun and learn! Zero Carbon" will be held!

Global warming is a global issue. The Japanese government is aiming for "zero carbon" (carbon neutrality), which means "virtually zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050," and local governments are also expected to do the same.

In December 2020, our city announced the "Zero Carbon City Declaration" and declared its goal of becoming a "Zero Carbon City by 2050" (virtually zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050). We are making various efforts to achieve virtually zero greenhouse gas emissions and a "decarbonized society" by 2032 (2050).
