Overview

"Play Snow Square," Tobetsu Town's biggest winter event, will be held again this year with the themes of "Seeking interaction between parents and children" and "Attracting visitors from outside the town."

There are various stage events such as a large snow slide that is very popular with children, treasure hunting, children's rice cake pounding, and more, as well as horse-drawn sleigh rides and Japan Air Self-Defense Force snowmobile test rides that adults can enjoy, as well as a bingo tournament. The fireworks display that beautifully colors the clear winter sky is a must-see. The whole family can enjoy winter in Tobetsu.
