Overview

In this performance, we will present all three of Brahms's violin sonatas, masterpieces of the German Romantic period. The lyrical No. 1, "Rain Song," which quietly touches the heart. The No. 2, full of soft grace and warmth. The dramatic No. 3, with its condensed tension and driving force. Through these three works, each with a different expression, you can glimpse the deep spiritual maturity that Brahms reached in his later years. The dense ensemble woven by the violin and piano in an equal partnership is also a major attraction.
