The 2025 maple syrup production is finally about to begin!

Maple syrup production began in the forests of Tobetsu Town in 2024.

In addition to making maple syrup, we also cut bamboo and thin out the excessive trees, so that both humans and the creatures living in the forest can feel at ease.

We are also working little by little to create sustainable forests.

We want as many people as possible to know about and see this forest, so we are holding "Hokkaido Maple Open Days 2025".

Admission is free, but if you wish to join a guided forest tour you must apply in advance.

15:30～Disband

*Please wear clothes suitable for playing in the snow.

*Snowshoes and skis are not available for rental. There are paths so that you can walk easily without snowshoes, but boots or snow boots are recommended. If you have snowshoes, please bring them with you.

*Payment will be by cash only at the venue on the day. If you would like to pay by credit card, please contact us separately.
