Watch! Dance! A fun festival where everyone is welcome to join in. A unique midsummer festival where people paint faces called zu-hara on their bellies and dance through the town. The Hokkai Belly Button Festival is loved by locals and tourists alike. The best group will receive a prize of 100,000 yen. Individuals are also welcome to join in!

It is one of Hokkaido's representative summer festivals, attracting tourists not only from within Hokkaido but from all over Japan and even from overseas. It is a two-day event that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, from children to the elderly, with stalls selling delicious food made with local ingredients at the "Heso Specialty Market" and dance and music performances by Furano residents.
