Overview

This driving course along Prefectural Route 96 connects the 300-year-old Houki-ji Temple weeping cherry tree, the cherry blossom tunnel at the nationally designated historic site of the Matsumae Domain Hekiriji Jinya ruins, the row of cherry trees along the Ono River, and the Kiyokawa Senbonzakura. Houki-ji Temple, the Matsumae Domain Hekiriji Jinya ruins, and the Ono River are also lit up, allowing you to enjoy the fantastical cherry blossoms at night.
