Otofuke Town is a mecca for Ifukube music, where one of Japan's greatest composers, Akira Ifukube, spent his childhood and youth, and where it is said that the original landscape of his works was shaped. To mark the 120th anniversary of the town's founding, the event will bring together young performers from all over the country through Ifukube music and deepen exchanges with the townspeople, with the aim of widely promoting town development through music both within and outside the town, as well as promoting artistic and cultural activities. We will continue to work to pass on Ifukube music to future generations, and will also deepen connections and exchanges between participants into the future.
