MAYA MAXX has published picture books featuring adorable animals while holding solo exhibitions all over the country. This is the second time they have held an original art exhibition at Niwa Gallery. As soon as the original drawings of "Panda-chan" and "One Monkey" were lined up in the gallery, along with clay rabbits looking up at the sky, the entire venue was filled with the breath of MAYA MAXX at the 2019 original art exhibition, creating a friendly yet dignified space.

This time, the original artwork of the latest work "Ezo Deer", published in the winter of 2024, will decorate the gallery. MAYA MAXX moved to Hokkaido and experienced the majestic nature with her whole body, and her encounter with Ezo deer. The original artwork eloquently speaks of the artist's thoughts.

MAYA MAXX passed away on January 9, 2025. Although she is no longer with us, her paintings and words continue to speak to us just as they did back then. Experience the world of MAYA MAXX, filled with kindness and strength.
