・Synopsis
It was the early Heisei period, and fishermen cultivating fish on Lake Saroma were troubled by damage caused by drifting ice. So they came up with the idea of the "Ice Boom Method," an ice barrier to stop the inflow of drifting ice. It was adopted at a conference bringing together industry, government, and academia, and they were finally moving towards making it a reality when suddenly, a major earthquake occurred!
An employee of Nishimura-gumi who was attending a meeting suddenly looked around and found himself in the Nishimura-gumi office from about 30 years ago, where the company's founder, Kotaro Nishimura, was racking his brains over the company's survival.
Will Eirei be able to overcome the crisis facing Nishimura-gumi and prevent future drift ice damage?
["Concarinho" COVID-19 relief project crowdfunding]
It was April 2020, and we were in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Theaters continued to cancel, and it was confirmed that there would be no use and no income for the next three months.
Wanting to keep the theater open, they are planning a crowdfunding campaign with the goal of raising 1.65 million yen, the equivalent of three months' rent, so that they can continue operating in the future.
Although the period was set at one and a half months, the target amount was reached within just two days of the start, and the project was ultimately completed with 5,837,000 yen, which is about nine and a half months' rent.
This crowdfunding project was supported by many people. As a reward for the maximum pledge of 1,650,000 yen, we offered the right to "have your company history adapted into a play!"
After five years, the company history of Nishimuragumi Co., Ltd. will be adapted for the stage at Concarinho!
