Overview

The Hokkai Bon Odori has a long history dating back to the first Sapporo Summer Festival, and has long been loved by locals as Hokkaido's signature Bon Odori. In addition, with the number of tourists from overseas increasing, the festival has become a lively and international event. This year's Hokkai Bon Odori will feature a variety of activities, including a Taiko drumming experience for children and the participation of popular mascot characters in the Bon Odori dance.
