Overview

The Rekifune River Clear Stream Festival, which aims to take advantage of the blessings of nature and enjoy the clear stream on a summer day, has been held as Taiki Town's biggest summer event every August since 1989, after the Ministry of the Environment assessed the Rekifune River that runs through Taiki Town as "the cleanest river in Japan." This year, there will be a snack bar and an interactive menu for children during the day, and in the evening, the festival will climax with the Perpune Fire Festival, where pillar torches that seem to reach the sky will burn, and a spectacular fireworks display.
