Overview
At the "2025 Volcano Erosion Control Forum" to be held in Toyako Town, the "Toyako-Usu Volcano Meisters," who have been certified as excellent "NIPPON Disaster Prevention Assets," will be presenting initiatives to improve local disaster prevention capabilities, such as disaster lore and disaster mitigation education for local children and tourists, as well as promoting the attractions of the region. In addition, topics such as "regional mental preparation for the next eruption" based on the latest volcano monitoring system, and "sustainable town development in volcanic regions" to walk together with the changing earth will be discussed, and opinions will be exchanged to raise awareness among local residents and participants and lead to sustainable initiatives for the future.
