We are pleased to announce the holding of "TAKE A WALK in Hokkaido," the first solo exhibition in Hokkaido by Tokyo-based illustrator Umano.

This exhibition will feature original drawings and art prints, including new works. The works depicting scenes of people and horses walking together will invite you into a world where nature and horses exist alongside humans.

In addition to selling original goods at the venue, illustration orders will also be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis in limited quantities.

In addition, an invitation-only reception will be held with the artist from 6:00 p.m. on the first day of the exhibition.

"Let's walk a little bit there"
I called out to him and tied my shoelaces,
The start of a leisurely walk with the horses.

Since ancient times, the relationship between horses and humans has been very close.
The works in this exhibition evoke this connection,
A simple touch that makes you feel closer to the horse,
It is painted in bright, gentle colors that lighten the heart.

Just like taking a leisurely stroll and taking detours,
You may discover something unique that you can only see when you're with a horse.
Walking next to me or riding on my back...
Imagine what kind of roads you will walk on with your horse.

He paints every day, thinking about the ancient relationship between horses and humans, and dreaming of one day living with a horse.
He has a wealth of experience in designing horse-themed logos.

In February 2025, he will hold a solo exhibition titled "TAKE A WALK" at MOUNT TOKYO (Tokyo), and this exhibition will be a traveling exhibition.
