To welcome the New Year of Reiwa 8, the observation terrace and other facilities at the Tentozan Observatory/Okhotsk Drift Ice Museum will be open to the public free of charge so that everyone can enjoy the first sunrise of 2026.

Additionally, in front of the restaurant "Dolce Aqua" inside the Okhotsk Drift Ice Museum, free amazake (sweet sake) made with sake lees from Kamikawa Taisetsu Brewery Co., Ltd. will be served. (As amazake is limited in quantity, it will end once it runs out.)

*During the temporary opening, the restaurant on the second floor, the soft serve ice cream corner and shop on the first floor, and the exhibition room in the basement (paid space) will be closed.
