The Nayoro Snow Quality Festival is a snow festival held every winter in Nayoro City, northern Hokkaido. Nayoro City is known for boasting the "best quality snow in Japan," and there are plenty of experiential events that make use of this abundant snow. At the venue, visitors can enjoy illuminations that light up the night sky, a light show featuring 26 drones, a giant snow slide, and a giant snow maze measuring approximately 3,000 square meters, said to be one of the largest in the world. There is also an attraction where you can race across the snow on a snowmobile, so everyone from children to adults can enjoy playing in the snow.
