In addition to food trucks and food stalls both inside and outside the village, the festival is packed with crane-related events with fantastic prizes, including the "Red-Crane Calling Contest," where participants compete to imitate the crane's call; the "Red-Crane Ultra Quiz," which tests participants' basic knowledge of cranes as well as their specialized knowledge; the "Red-Crane Cold Endurance Competition," where participants compete to see who can stand barefoot on one foot the longest in snow-filled water; the "Red-Crane Arrival Quiz"; and the "Snow Treasure Hunt."
