His works will also be exhibited alongside related books, providing insight into his unique worldview. Also on display in the museum lobby will be his masterpiece "Buds," which was previously installed in the courtyard of Asahikawa National College of Technology. See up close the traces of natural forces that Bikky called "the chisels of wind and snow."

<Sunazawa Bikki>
Asahikawa-born Bikki Sunazawa (1931-1989) developed a wide range of creative activities, from dynamic large-scale woodcarvings to craft works carved with delicate patterns, to improvised drawings.
Between creative projects, Bikky would retreat to his study to read. His collection of books is diverse, including works by his friend Tatsuhiko Shibusawa, as well as art such as surrealism, folk art from around the world, and works depicting the coexistence of humans and nature. Some of these works share themes and motifs with Bikky's own works, providing insight into the trends in art and literature in the 20th century, during which he lived.
