Do you know of the musical instrument called the "English horn"?
When you hear "horn," many of you might imagine a shining gold-colored instrument, coiled up and shaped like a snail.
The English horn, unlike that horn, is a woodwind instrument and a member of the oboe family.

At this concert, because we would like you to experience the charm of such an instrument as the English horn, we will present a program of all pieces performed by English horn and piano.
A deep, warm, one-of-a-kind resonance, also different from the oboe. I love its melancholy tone color, which evokes a somewhat nostalgic feeling.

Surely in Sapporo, there are not so many concerts where you can savor the English horn in its entirety.
