Animal photographer Mitsuaki Iwago (1950–) has traveled the world for over half a century in search of the brilliance woven by wild animals and nature. At the same time, he has also dedicated himself to photographing familiar cats as his life's work. His works, which capture the natural expressions and movements of cats with his unique use of light and composition by getting as close as possible to their perspective, have fascinated many people.
This exhibition is a photo exhibition introducing cats from 16 regions, including New York and Rio de Janeiro, that Iwago visited for his show 'Mitsuaki Iwago's World Cat Walk' (NHK), which he photographs and appears in. It vividly portrays how cats blend into people's lives and live together with them. Please enjoy this journey to see cats from all over the world.
