Capturing the colors of plants and flowers, the transitions of the four seasons in paintings, and sculpting the dignified presence and innocent gestures of animals—people have been fascinated by the brilliance of their lives, and since ancient times, have made them a source of creation. Through the eyes of artists, in the forms of flora and fauna depicted and sculpted, one can discover the preciousness and weight of life that has been connected for a long time.
In this exhibition, paintings, sculptures, photographs, and other works with flora and fauna as their theme will be displayed not only in the museum exhibition rooms but also in the outdoor spaces within Sapporo Art Park. You can enjoy the world of flowers and beasts, expressed by each artist facing life through 'colors' and 'forms,' while strolling through the nature-rich Art Park.
