NoMaps is a large-scale innovation festival where people with the ambition to make the world more interesting and better through tech, entertainment, and creativity gather and interact from Sapporo and Hokkaido. In 2025, its 10th year, various sessions and events were held at 86 venues in central Sapporo, with a total of over 58,000 visitors. The event for 2026 has also been decided to be held from September 23 (Wed, holiday) to 27 (Sun).

Producing various projects and creatives originating from Tokyo
Since last year, "NoMaps TeamTOKYO" was launched as a new organization to further promote co-creation between cities and regions. Members, mainly from companies, startups, and creators based in Hokkaido and Tokyo, took on the role of bridging the gap to create the next society and future.

Specifically, projects such as stage art of "Puppetry Art × Cutting-edge AI," a planned exhibition of "Metaverse/AI × Matchmaking Support," and various creator networking events were realized. With TeamTOKYO taking charge of producing and managing the community to realize various projects and creatives from Tokyo, the number of participants from the Tokyo metropolitan area increased by 10.5% compared to the previous year.

This time, we will be holding a kick-off event in Roppongi, Tokyo, for peers who want to create new projects together with TeamTOKYO at "NoMaps2026"!


On the day of the event, members of TeamTOKYO, the NoMaps Executive Director, and players who "participated" in last year's NoMaps with various projects from all over the country will take the stage. We are also planning an introduction to the overview of NoMaps2026 and a talk session to hear about the experiences of role models who actually participated in last year's NoMaps with their projects.
