Overview

Centered around this guardhouse that conveys the era when the herring industry once flourished, this event is held at the plaza in front of the 'Former Hanada Family Guardhouse,' a nationally designated Important Cultural Property, with the purpose of inheriting the wishes of our ancestors who lived along the coast and passing them down to future generations. Additionally, at the venue, free distribution of Sanpei-jiru soup and other activities take place, attracting popularity every year.
