Invasive Alien Species Seiyoo-ohanamarubachi Eradication Event in Ecorin Village

The Seiyoo-ohanamarubachi came to Japan for the pollination of mini tomatoes. However, some have escaped from greenhouses and become feral, potentially impacting the natural environment of Hokkaido. We will hold a seminar & hands-on activity to think about biodiversity, the invasive species problem in Hokkaido, and native bumblebee species.
