Overview

The Hokkaido Yellow Stars, who will be joining Japan's top volleyball league, the 'SV League,' from the 2026-27 season, will hold a special 'Summer Vacation Bread Making Class' for children from 3rd to 6th grade of elementary school as a joint project with the popular bakery 'Donguri' and 'Hokkaido Gas (Kitagas)'.

This was realized with the aim of revitalizing the region through Hokkaido's food and sports, as well as providing a new entertainment experience for children. The participating children will team up with players from the Hokkaido Yellow Stars, brainstorm ideas, and create one-of-a-kind original breads. Furthermore, this is a special hands-on project where the two types of bread completed this time will actually be sold to the public at the venue during the SV League's home game opener scheduled for October.

■ Two types of original bread to be designed and created
1. 'Original Chikuwa Pan' that evolves with everyone's ideas. Donguri's steadfastly popular product, 'Chikuwa Pan'. It usually contains tuna salad, but this time, we will create a new Chikuwa Pan with free-form ideas. We will bring the children's ideas to life by changing the filling or adding new toppings.

2. Iesuta's symbol! 'Star-shaped Bread'. Using a star-shaped mold, which is the team's symbol, participants will create bread with free-form ideas under the mandatory condition of 'using yellow ingredients'. Whether to make it a sweet bread or a savory bread is up to each team's ideas.

■ Target age: Children from 3rd to 6th grade of elementary school

■ Capacity: 12 people (Work will be done in 3 teams of 4)

■ Participating players: 3 players from the Hokkaido Yellow Stars 　*One player will join each team. Group assignments are random.
