Overview

Set on the Ishikari River in Kamikawa Town, we are recruiting participants for the 'Geo-Tour' where you can experience and learn about the formation of the earth. The biggest attraction of this tour is the overwhelming columnar joints (chujousetsuri) of 'Obako,' a scenic spot that Sounkyo is proud of! It is a special nature experience where you can look up from the river at that magnificent rock wall, which you can absolutely never get close to from land, from up close.
