With an eye on the extension of the Hokkaido Shinkansen to Sapporo, and to further create liveliness around Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station centered around the Hokuto City Tourism Exchange Center, the event in front of Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station, 'It's Gourmet! Everyone Gather in Hokuto 2026,' will be held with the theme of 'food' from areas such as Hokuto City, Southern Hokkaido (Donan), and Tohoku. This year, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the founding of Hokuto City, each stall will offer special menus related to '20'.
