The fireworks festival 'Takino Hanabi 2026' will be held on Saturday, June 20th, at a special space in Takino Suzuran Hillside National Government Park (Takino, Minami-ku, Sapporo City). This event is an annual paid fireworks festival held on the vast grounds of 'Takino Suzuran Hillside National Government Park,' Northern Japan's largest national government park located in the suburbs of Sapporo City. At the same venue, we have held paid fireworks festivals with content tailored to the times, such as LIGHT UP NIPPON HOKKAIDO, aimed at supporting the Great East Japan Earthquake, and DRIVE IN HANABI, a drive-in fireworks show suited for the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year, we will hold the event with even more powered-up content leading up to the fireworks than in previous years.　
During the day, there will be a beginners' dance contest for teenagers, kids' DJs, a DJ school where anyone can enjoy a DJ experience, a grand lottery, and other audience-participation content, and the perennially popular 'Hokkaido Niku Matsuri (Hokkaido Meat Festival),' where you can enjoy unique meat dishes, will also be held concurrently. Inside the venue, an area where you can enjoy BBQ and fireworks will also be available. You can enjoy delicious meat. It is an event where everyone from children to adults can enjoy various attractions and delicious gourmet food. At night, you can enjoy a fireworks display synchronized with music amidst the vast nature.
After the fireworks, you can also enjoy camping right there; it's an event simply packed with 'fun.'
Continuing from last year, admission will be free for junior high school students and younger this year as well.
