At the festival eve, the fireworks display co-hosted by the Furusato Ginga Line Rikubetsu Railway Festival Executive Committee and Tokachi Mainichi Shimbun will launch approximately 2,000 fireworks, coloring the summer night sky! Also, in conjunction with the fireworks display, a special train will be operated from which you can watch the fireworks from inside a diesel railcar. Gifts of local specialty products will also be available. In addition, a street performance stage show and a concert by Backyard Music are scheduled to be held.

At the main festival, popular comedians from Yoshimoto Kogyo (Slim Club, Denjin Band) will appear on stage! A guaranteed laugh-out-loud comedy stage is a must-see.
