This performance is a program that introduces the multifaceted charms of the flute. In C.P.E. Bach's Hamburger Sonata, expressions that convey subtle emotional fluctuations and improvisation breathe within a neat style predating the classical period. In Mouquet's 'La Flûte de Pan,' mythical fantasy and soft tones come to the forefront, expanding the unique color palette of the flute. Furthermore, in Taffanel's Fantaisie on 'Der Freischütz,' brilliant technique and theatrical excitement are added for a dramatic development. In the final Franck Sonata, lyricism and structural beauty are grandly united, and the rich dialogue between the flute and piano leaves a deep, lingering impression. Through the differences in character of each piece, this program allows you to savor the breadth of the flute's expressive range.
