Overview

This tour allows you to integrally experience the journey of how a single bottle of milk is made in the Konsen region, which supports Japan's dairy farming—from the transport and storage of imported livestock feed, to raw milk production, processing, and shipment outside of Hokkaido—while also learning about the transportation routes (logistics network) that connect these processes, the status of farmland reorganization projects aimed at strengthening the domestic feed production base, and their effects.
☆Kushiro Port is the only place in Hokkaido where you can see the RORO ship 'Hokuren Maru' up close!　　
☆Staff from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's Hokkaido Regional Development Bureau, as well as personnel from each facility, will guide you on-site!
