Overview
In Hokkaido, to deepen understanding and awareness of global warming prevention, July 7th of each year has been designated as 'Hokkaido Cool Earth Day'., the Kushiro General Subprefectural Bureau will hold 'Kushiro Gaia Night 2026 in the Night Zoo' on Saturday, July 25th, within the popular 'Night Zoo Festival' event at Kushiro City Zoo. At the venue, in addition to lighting and arranging numerous candles and distributing free awareness-raising goods such as novelties (distribution will end once the planned quantity is reached), a concert will also be held using 'tone chimes,' an instrument that does not use electricity.
