This parade, where many citizens in various costumes parade through the city dancing the 'Hakodate Minato Odori' and 'Hakodate Ika Odori,' is so lively that even spectators along the roadside start dancing. The mikoshi (portable shrines) that powerfully lead the parade and the brilliantly decorated dashi (floats) are also must-sees in Hakodate's main summer parade.

■August 5th (Wed): The 71st Doshin Fireworks Display Reserve Day

■August 1st (Sat) - August 5th (Wed): Food Stalls 9:00-21:00 (until 22:00 only on the day of the fireworks display)

*Regarding Wasshoi Hakodate, the parade may end earlier than the scheduled time depending on its progress.
