Why not gaze at the great snowfields of Wakkanai from a box-shaped sightseeing sleigh pulled by a snow vehicle, feel the sensation of snow with cross-country skis or snowshoes, and dash across the snow on a fat bike? It is a 10-minute drive from Wakkanai Airport, the aerial gateway to Wakkanai. From the opening day of February 1st, a sightseeing tour bus will operate from in front of Wakkanai Station and Wakkanai Airport via Cape Soya. Of course, a parking lot is available, and you can also take a break indoors.
