*However, on the 11th (Sat) and 18th (Sat), hours are 9:00 - 21:00 (Last admission 20:30)
*On light-up days, we are open until 21:00. Last admission is at 20:30.
Fee
Adults 360 yen / Junior high school students and younger 240 yen
*If you are also going to the Matsumae Castle Museum, purchasing a combination ticket is a better value.
Overview
An event to feel the coolness by floating hydrangeas in the waterways of the 'Matsumae-han Yashiki,' which recreates the townscape of the Edo period. Why not soothe the summer heat by gazing at the beautiful hydrangeas?

■Floating Hydrangeas Light-up
On July 11th (Sat) and July 18th (Sat), the floating hydrangeas will be lit up from sunset to 21:00. Different from the daytime, the fantastical scenery is perfect for photos!
■Hydrangea Replacement Schedule (*Subject to change due to weather, etc.)
Hydrangea Setting: Scheduled for July 10th (Fri)
Hydrangea Replacement (1st time): Scheduled for July 13th (Mon)
Hydrangea Replacement (2nd time): Scheduled for July 17th (Fri)
■Matsumae Chamber of Commerce and Industry Youth Division 'Floating Hydrangea Beer Garden'
・Date & Time: July 11th (Sat) 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Near the entrance of Matsumae-han Yashiki
・Draft beer, juice, yakitori, yakisoba, french fries, etc. are scheduled to be sold
*Canceled in case of severe weather. No postponement.
■'Udade Matsumae!' Event
July 19th (Sun) 10:00 - 16:00, Near each building of Matsumae-han Yashiki
Fabric goods, Dagashiya (cheap sweets shop), Handmade goods, Urasato, Sugawaragumi Co., Ltd., kitchen cars, and many other stalls are scheduled to open
