Overview

Teine Natsu Akari is a summer tradition in Teine Ward where lanterns made mainly by the children of the ward are decorated and lit. It was first held in 1992, led by the faculty and students of our university, and this year marks its 35th time. This year again, several thousand lanterns will be lit on the university campus, enveloping the entire venue in a warm light. Additionally, various other events are planned, such as a performance by the YOSAKOI Soran Club "Hokkaido University of Science ~Sora~".
