Overview

As the Jomon World Heritage sites celebrate their 5th anniversary of registration, July 26th has been designated as the 'Day to Experience Oshima's Jomon'. In order to build momentum for the 5th anniversary celebration and with the aim of letting local residents and visitors to the Oshima area know about the charm of 'Oshima's Jomon', related organizations and groups will collaborate to implement initiatives.

■ Mori Town Archaeological Site Excavation and Research Office <Opening Hours 9:00-17:00>
・July 26, squid-shaped earthenware product straps will be given as a gift to the first 100 people

■ Sale of the 'Jomon Kanpasu' One-Day Pass
・For a limited time from July 25 (Sat) to October 4 (Sun), allowing boarding and alighting at bus stops nearest to the Jomon archaeological sites

■ Take a Photo and Discover! Jomon Archaeological Sites Tour Photo Rally
Tour the Jomon archaeological sites and museums in Donan (Southern Hokkaido), take photos related to Jomon culture, and apply (Prizes will be given away by lottery!)
