Overview

Have you ever taken a close look at the "chirimenjako" (dried young sardines) you usually eat? If you look very closely, you may find other creatures mixed in. The Maruyama Zoo Volunteer Association is holding a "Chirimon Observation Session" where they will explain the diversity and interconnectedness of living things while observing and sorting these chirimenjako.

Why not have fun learning about the richness of marine life by searching for rare Chirimon like seahorses?

■Target Audience: 1st grade elementary school students and older (adults can enjoy it too!)
