Overview
A 360-degree panoramic view of the horizon.
This observatory offers a magnificent 360-degree panoramic view of the horizon, and is located within the Shibecha Breeding Ranch, one of the largest ranches in Japan, with 1,279 hectares of sloping pastureland and 404 hectares of grassland, where several thousand head of cattle and several hundred head of Suffolk sheep graze. From the observatory, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Shiretoko, Akan, and other mountains, and experience a magnificent, pastoral landscape.
