Toyohira Park
A park of flowers and greenery near a subway station where you can enjoy a stroll in the garden and plant displays in the greenhouse.
Opened in 1977 on the site of the former Forestry Experiment Station of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, this park is also the name of a subway station on the Toho Line and is easily accessible. The 7.4-hectare park has beautiful flower beds and gardens, including a "flower arboretum" where various roses and other plants are cultivated, and a "conifer sample garden" with coniferous trees from various countries. In particular, the "Green Center," which has a two-story exhibition greenhouse, offers a permanent plant consultation corner, as well as gardening classes and workshops. It also provides a brokerage service for unwanted garden trees and plants, allowing visitors to obtain information and knowledge about plants while enjoying the abundance of flowers and greenery.
